Rebecca joined Dewart Gleason as an associate after articling with the firm. Her practice focuses on union-side labour law and civil litigation.
Rebecca completed her law degree at the University of Ottawa. During law school, Rebecca participated in a year-long Prison Law Clinic where she worked with community advocates in Ottawa to directly support those incarcerated at the Ottawa-Carleton Detention Centre. She also received the University of Ottawa Public Interest Fellowship to work with the British Columbia Civil Liberties Association on advocacy concerning anti-SLAPP legislation and police accountability. Rebecca is actively involved in community organizing in Toronto.
Originally from Winnipeg, Rebecca enjoys exploring new Toronto neighbourhoods by bike, completing jigsaw puzzles, and baking for her friends.
