Danika is an associate with a focus on union-side labour and civil litigation.

After articling at Dewart Gleason, Danika worked in Ontario’s legal clinic system. She has appeared before several tribunals in Ontario and advised on matters related to provincial and federal social assistance programs, COVID-19 benefits and overpayments, landlord and tenant disputes, human rights, and employment.

Danika graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School where she cut her teeth at Parkdale Community Legal Services. She was active in the school’s law union chapter, strike support committee, feminist collective, and mooting programs.

Outside the office, Danika is a legal observer with the Movement Defence Committee and performs in Nightwood Theatre’s annual Lawyer Show musical.
