Virginia joined Dewart Gleason as an associate in 2023 after articling with the firm. Her practice focuses on union-side labour law, employment law and civil litigation.

Virginia earned her JD at Osgoode Hall Law School. During this time, she was a caseworker in the workers’ rights division at Parkdale Community Legal Services, a summer legal intern at Maggie’s Toronto Sex Workers’ Action Project and a legal research assistant at the Centre for Refugee Studies. Prior to law school, Virginia obtained a Master of Social Work and worked in the areas of health equity and older persons’ rights.

In her free time, Virginia enjoys rock climbing and cooking Ecuadorean food. Virginia is fluent in Spanish.
